Another milestone: USE-IT Nantes turns 10! A decade of map-making. We’re currently working on a brand-new edition (#7), set to be printed just before Summer, so you can experience Nantes in the most real, authentic, up-to-date, well you-know-the-plot way, in September.

MONEY MONEY MONEY
Within this 2025 year, the DIG-IT project, co-funded by the EU, enables us again to exceptionally take in charge the travel costs for a part of you. We will reimburse travel costs for the following people:
1 person per member of a USE-IT city
(membership paid within the last 18 months)
Board members + Editor-in-Chief
Partners of the DIG-IT project
We will apply different reimbursement rates according to how far you come from.
FOR PEOPLE TRAVELLING
FROM FRANCE
We will reimburse you up to 200€
for a trip by train or car.
We will not reimburse trips by plane.
FOR PEOPLE TRAVELLING
FROM LESS THAN 1 000 KM
We will reimburse you up to 250€
for a trip by train or car.
We will reimburse you up to 100€ for a trip by plane.
FOR PEOPLE TRAVELLING
FROM MORE THAN 1 000 KM
We will reimburse you up to 250€,
whatever the mean of transport
(but please, if possible, choose train option!).
PARTICIPATION FEE
Anyone making a map, who made a map, who wants to make a map is kindly invited and welcome to our annual event.
For this big celebration time we will be happy to see you all in Nantes dear network!
However, we cannot host everybody for free. Following the membership rule, we are welcoming for free 1 person per member of a USE-IT city (membership paid within the last 18 months) + board members and our dear editor-in-chief + partners of the DIG-IT project.
Every additional person per USE-IT city and non-members will be charged a participation fee of 200€ for food and accomodation.

USE-IT stands for no-nonsense tourist information for young people, made by locals, not commercial, free and up-to-date.
Every USE-IT publishes since 2005 a squared Map for Young Travellers that will guide you through the city in an authentic way.

From paper to screens with mappiness: this digitisation project will result in the launch of a new digital presence for USE-IT by 2025.
The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic and France are leading this 3-year process of learning, testing, and implementing, created by and for youth workers and map makers.
